Program areas at Motorcycle Missions

Motorcycle Build Mentorship Program: This program gets Veterans and First Responders connected with the motorcycle community and working with their hands, with the aim of renewing their sense of passion and purpose in life. A dedicated group of 8 to 10 Veterans and First Responders spend an average of 4 to 6 months building a custom motorcycle together, meeting together once a week from beginning until completion.Through partnerships with specific shops, participants receive access to tools, lifts, welding equipment, and hands-on instruction from start to finish.
Throttle Therapy Program: Our Throttle Therapy Program offers Veterans and First Responders 5 different kinds of riding that will bring them together for a fun and exciting weekend of riding/racing, camping, and camaraderie. Designed to help them work through frustrations, fears and aggression, these programs are done on a closed and controlled course surrounded by skilled riding coaches and staff.
Welding Technology Classes: Thanks to our welding sponsors Lincoln Electric and Weld Tables, Motorcycle Missions hosts regular free welding technology classes monthly throughout the year and during each motorcycle build. This class is focused on kindling a passion for welding as a new hobby or opening up vocational opportunities for our students in the welding trade.
