Program areas at Mount Madonna Institute
College of Ayurveda graduate degree and certificate programs are accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) and approved by the National Ayurvedic Medicine Association. Certificate programs prepare graduates for alternative, complementary, and integrative healthcare careers as Ayurvedic Health Counselors and Certified Ayurvedic Practitioners. Clinical internships complement classroom instruction to ensure practical application. The Master of Arts - Ayurveda degree advances foundational AHC and CAP curricula through enhanced theoretical knowledge, applied research, and externship experience, to ensure the finest classical training in Ayurveda principles and methods.
The School of Yoga certificate programs are approved by Yoga Alliance, and the Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy Program is accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Signature certificate programs prepare yoga instructors and ayurvedic yoga therapists through Yoga Teacher Training (200 hours), Advanced Yoga Studies (300 hours), and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy (1100 hours). These programs include a broad range of yoga theory, philosophy, and practice, with particular emphasis on the Yoga Sutra's Eight-Limbs ashtanga system.
MMI Wellness Center consists of Ayurveda World, MMI Ayurvedic Clinic and Kaya Kalpa. Kaya Kalpa Ayurveda Spa is a system developed in India by early practitioners of Yoga to balance the nervous system, tone and maintain the life force energy while enhancing longevity with Ayurvedic massage (Abhyanga and Marma Points) as well as Swedana, which detoxifies and vitalizes the body, and Shirodhara, which relaxes the mind. MMI Ayurvedic Clinic offers professional Ayurvedic Practitioners. Ayurveda World produces a full Ayurvedic herbal product line. Kaya Kalpa offers health and wellness treatments based on Ayurveda.
