Mach 1 served riders with disabilities. The program serves riders with various disabilities including autism, down syndrome, angelman's disorder, cp, neurological disorders, amputees, dystonia, accident involvements, blindness, deafness and others.activities include: handling and riding horses to increase body awareness/control and individual and group games for skill learning/social interaction.as A path intl (professional association of therapeutic horsemanship international) premier accredited center (mach 1) abides by the north american riding for the handicapped association, Inc. standards.the purpose of path intl accreditation is to provide A process of evaluation that recognizes A center's program as meeting basic standards for both health and safety to promote the well being of all participants and equines.mach 1 serves riders with disabilities mostly in the pasadena, san gabriel valley area; however we are now able to serve more clients from the surrounding areas. In the past year our facilities have been upgraded to our own center. We now offer unmounted horsemanship lessons and summer and winter camp. We also serve in coordination with several law enforcement and other civic organizations.
