Noela Community health center provides primary care services to the adult and pediatric populations within new orleans east Community and its surrounding neighborhoods who suffer from limited access to health care. Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities in and around the new orleans east area by providing accessible, affordable, high quality, culturally competent Community based primary, preventive, rehabilitative, and behavioral health care. Services include primary care, obgyn, mental health and social services, medicare/medicaid, and pharmacy education.
Veggi farmers cooperative is dedicated to empowering growers in the greater new orleans area, starting in new orleans east, in order to create sustainable, high quality jobs that enhance the quality of life of communities through increasing local food access and promotion of sustainable agriculture.
