Improve subsistence farmer income in arumeru district of tanzania through purchasing Coffee from the MT. Meru specialty Coffee growers association at or above fair-trade prices to sell to consumers in the united states. We imported 10,845 kg, paying the farmer groups $52,500.provided $8400 in funding to support continuing education for an additional 120 farmers (576 program-to-date) at the tanzania Coffee research institute (tacri).provided $14,000 toward the capital improvement projects at five of the MT. Meru specialty Coffee growers association processing centers to address the climate change challenge, as well as support their quality improvement initiatives.
