Community awareness: the Chamber sponsors numerous seminars, meetings, and other activities, as well as a web presence to engourage educators, local businesses, and community members to take a proactive role to further interest of member businesses while presenting and maintaining a healthy and progressive business residential community: and to engcourage growth in all aspects of the community.

Member services: the Chamber provides numerous meetings and conferences for its members to promote a confident and amenable business environment. The Chamber sponsors regular breakfasts and after hours gatherings, as well as numerous other meetings to provide opportunity for members to met and exchange ideas and information. All done in an effort to promote its members and the community. The Chamber also compiles and distributes a community business directory to promote member businesses. The publication is made available to member businesses and residents as well as those seeking community information in an effort to promote new growth and existing businesses.

Tourism promotion: the Chamber sponsors various events and community activities throughout the year to promote interaction between member businesses and visitors to the area to encourage tourism and cultivate a shop local attitude within the community. These activities have helped the downtwon merchant members maintain markets when many moderate sized communities have suffered economic downturns in their respective downtown areas. The Chamber office makes information readily available on site through electronic media regarding area amenities and activities to visitors, newcomers, potential residents, and businesses providing a "best foot forward" approach.

Visitor center - the Chamber, through a contract with the city of MT Pleasant, provides a visitor center for visitors to MT Pleasant and Titus County. The visitor center offers information about MT Pleasant and Titus County to promote tourism, local events, local businesses, and points of attraction in MT Pleasant, Titus County, and the surrounding area.
