Program areas at Museum and Gallery
Arts Encounter MG Education Staff provides cross-curricular, arts-integrated lessons and programming for thousands of K-12 students and educators. Arts Encounter includes the following priograms Museum on the Move MOM, cultural discovery tours, Kids Create Summer Art Day Camp, and Homeschool Days. These programs partner with students public, private, and home education, educators, and families to provide low-cost, high-quality arts programming that serves more than 12,000 annually. Educators and parents highly rank all of MGs programs on surveys. The teachers and students request MG programs year after year.
Adult programming mg both inspires and challenges adults of all ages and backgrounds to build on and add to their existing knowledge of history and culture through tours, events, lectures, online media, exhibits, and publications.
