Description
Musical Empowerment creates equitable access to music education by pairing children with college mentors who inspire resilience and confidence. College student volunteers provide free, one-on-one music lessons weekly to children aged 5-18 through our music mentorship program, which continues to grow at several universities in North Carolina. Students participating in the program are eligible to borrow an instrument free of charge for lessons and practice. After three years, they are gifted the instrument for their own use.
