Program areas at Musicall
Musicall primary focus is on the children and youth of the community. Our Main Program is the Musicall Community Program on which we offer three different orchestra levels experience; prep classes on a wide variety of instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Guitar), Theory/Piano Lab Classes, Family Music Class (Toddlers), Four Hands (Introduction to piano for preschoolers) as well as semi-private music lessons and Improvisation at a reasonable cost. We grant scholarships to children who qualify, providing free lessons and instruments. The performances, recitals, and workshops put on by Musicall are a fulfilling experience for the students and an effective outreach to the community to expose the importance of music education. Our goal is to maintain our standard of instruction at the highest level while providing a friendly, fun and nurturing environment for the whole family.
Musicall provides after-school and Summer Programs with the approach of a Music Conservatory. Children choose a basic instrument (Guitar, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass) while they also receive a chorus class and a piano lab/Theory class. The goal is to form string ensembles. All the classes are vital for an integral learning process. Children benefit from learning two different musical instruments. They also learn how to use their voices properly, sing in tune and read and write music. The Group Class Environment provides teamwork and social awareness. Children also have several opportunities to perform in front of an audience and this, along with the accomplishment of learning to play a musicall instrument strengthen and develop their self-esteem.
