Program areas at Mustang Champions
Mustang Champions worked to increase wild horse placements, educate Americans and elevate the general publics understanding of the status of Americas wild horses and burros and the rangelands they inhabit. MC accomplished this through the development and implementation of a national education program, The Interactive Wild Horse Experience, and two national championship mustang events, Mustang Classic and Mustang Challenge. The goal of the events is to generate positive adoptions and sales while elevating the public image of wild horses and their adaptability to ownership. Through our educational efforts we gathered relative statistics and information on BLM programs and solutions and presented it to the public in an experiential trade show format to help Americans better appreciate and comprehend the complexity and purpose of the program. Advisory Boards were established for both the Mustang Classic and Mustang Challenge. The board members have helped consult on class formats and competition rules and regulations. They have also consulted on competition judges, event designers and staff. Exhibitor Solicitation advertising campaigns were designed and launched. Heavy focus on social marketing campaigns that directly target potential and past trainers and competitors and their use of mobile devices. Venues have been booked and contracts are in development. Class structure and rules and regulations have been developed, finalized, and distributed. Salesforce platform secured and developed for all competitor and mustang information to be collected, stored, and accessed for program execution. The Training curriculum and Training Readiness Test are in development.
