Veteran's program My Brother's keeper(mbk) has provided contract beds for the veteran administration in ann arbor and saginaw Michigan since 2012. The renewed contracts allows mbk to serve 9 contract beds for saginaw and 10 grant per diem beds for ann arbor Michigan. In 2023, our positive discharge rates for veterans was 99.0% in less than 90 days and we continue to see a decrease in homeless veterans in Genesee County.
Emergency shelter program the Michigan department of health and human services (mdhhs) has contracted with the salvation army - eastern Michigan division to administer the emergency shelter program at 101 n grand traverse, flint Michigan. This contract supports 51 men per night for a total of 12,000 bed nights -400 unduplicated men age 18 and older 8 - no single gender per year.
