My Neighbor To Love Coalition

Our mission is To address the needs of people experiencing homelessness by providing affordable housing, addressing contributing factors, and creating a supportive community. To date, we are providing housing for 6 formerly homeless individuals. The most recent and current program mentioned here is for both a life skills and employment readiness course and a supportive friendship course. We received 2 grants for a combined $98,000 To develop this programming. Development of these courses started in late 2023 and are expected To be completed by mid-2024. These courses are meant To help people learn the skills necessary To live independently and successfully and also encourage employment obtainment and retention. The supportive friendship course is for training volunteers To come along side someone needing support and offering friendship and resource information.
