MOB works with inner-city, low-income, K-12 schools and communities in the Bay Area to empower African American students (particularly men) and provide a sense of community supporting their retention and college success. The proposed activity is to establish a sense of belonging for K-12 youth (especially males of color) rooted in mentorship, culture, and identity. All of our spring 2023 and spring 2024 graduates of the program have been accepted to the colleges and or trade programs
