Mission statement: the mission of the Mya Strong Foundation is to raise awareness about pediatric cancer through scholarships media and local events to spread the message of kindness to others and to raise money through various sponsored activities. Provide assistance to families with pediatric cancer through monetary gifts directly families and other organizations in Iowa that provide assistance to pediatric oncology families. Activites directed by the Mya Strong Foundation: annual Mya Strong softball tournament: this tournament was created to raise awareness about pediatric oncology and to raise money for the Mya Strong Foundation. The Mya Strong Foundation awards the money in the form of scholarships for local students it gifts money to local oncology families donates to oncology organizations in Iowa that support research or the well-being of pediatric oncology patients included but not limited to medical expenses oncology and sibling camp expenses oncology family activity
