The organization was formed on December 2, 2022, and received its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in June 2023. As such, its financial activity between 2022 and 2023 was primarily limited to legal fees incurred for formation, exemption application, and regulatory compliance. The organization also focused on securing grants to fund its research activities. During the tax year, the organization launched a project to screen Lipoarabinomannan (LAM) antibodies, which are diagnostic biomarkers of active tuberculosis. By identifying a pair of high-affinity LAM antibodies, the organization aims to significantly enhance the sensitivity and specificity of tuberculosis detection, potentially leading to improved diagnostic capabilities and better patient outcomes.
