Na Kalai Wa'a provides cultural educational experiences utilizing Hawaiian voyaging canoes. The program conducts voyaging classes, lectures, and presentations to teach cultural practices such as preserving the land and sea. Over 1,074 students/attendees attended 239 programs/lectures given by the program. Its mission is to revive and teach the wayfinding traditions of the Hawaiian people to instill pride, build self-esteem, and deepen Hawaiian scientific knowledge.
