Nami Southern Nevada

Nami Southern Nevada is part of a national network and is one out of over 600 grassroots mental health nonprofits in the united states, dedicated to building better lives for millions of americans affected by mental health conditions. Nami Southern Nevada offers support, education, advocacy, and public awareness to help individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges. In 2023, Nami Southern Nevada supported the community through 863 helpline calls, 128 support groups with a total of 931 encounters and 16 wellness classes with 57 encounters. We've educated individuals through 97 presentations and training with 1,944 touchpoints. We've provided outreach with 3,091 encounters at 82 events. Nami Southern Nevada continues to support, educate and advocate for families and peers impacted by mental health conditions with services with a total of 323 activities and 6,886 touchpoints in 2023. Efforts have been expanded to provide outreach to diverse communities through our sharing hope and compartiendo esperanza presentations. Our focus on wellness classes and peer support workforce development continues to be a priority to expand recovery oriented services.
