In 2015, its eleventh full year of operation, Narconon Western United States ("wus") continued its work in assisting in the management of Narconon drug rehabilitation centers prior to the reorganization described on schedule o. The total number of students serviced on the Narconon rehabilitation program prior to the reorganization was approximately 370. The number of individuals graduating the Narconon drug rehabilitation program and attesting to being able to live a "drug free life" in the wus area prior to the reorganization was 182. In 2015 there were 8 Narconon centers operating in the wus area and two community outreach centers.
The organization oversaw and coordinated activities in the Western United States area to enlighten the public about the problems associated with drug and alcohol abuse, and the solutions for prevention of these problems and the rehabilitation of persons whose lives have been adversely affected by drug and alcohol abuse. The organization's representatives provided promotional materials and networked and participated with other drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and organizations in allied efforts to inform the broad public of the dangers of abuse and how it can prevented and cured. More than 44,000 children and adults were reached with education and drug facts. Educational booklets were handed out at schools, meetings, and other civic events. Articles on drug abuse prevention were written and distributed in more than 100 outlets.
