Program areas at National American Indian Housing Council
Training & technical assistance - the National American Indian Housing Council (naihc) has offered high quality training and technical assistance (t/ta) services to tribes and tribal Housing professionals. Each year, hundreds of tribal Housing professionals attend naihc training courses to enhance their management skills and broaden their knowledge of tribal Housing operations and management.in addition, tribes and tribal Housing programs benefit from free, specialized technical assistance (on and off-site) provided by highly experienced naihc staff and consultants.
Leadership institute provides a means by which individuals can improve their management skills. The leadership institute training is specific to the tribal Housing industry and offers participants an opportunity to acquire their professional Indian Housing manager's (pihm) certification. The leadership institute also includes grants directly to member tribal Housing programs to provide Housing services in their communities.
Member services, annual conventions, legal symposium and legislative conference, meetings, advertising promotions, employee benefits and other expenses associated with conference and membership program services.
