Linguistic Analysis and Assessment Training: NACA Convened a two-day training for our members' loss prevention managers. The training was conducted by the FBI and provided an introduction to Linguistic Analysis and Assessment LAA Principles of Deception in the context of LAA to support LPMs in their daily work investigating thefts and robberies. Topics included: Best practices for taking statements Examining the structure of the narrative and the appropriateness of the Author's Focus within the narrative training on examining the structure of narratives and Determining commitment through Unique Sensory and Spatial Details among others.

State Legislative and Regulatory Program: NACA reviews state and federal regulations and legislation. We provide information to regulators regarding the potential impact on the industry and the public.

Annual Meeting: NACA holds an annual meeting where members review industry trends and issues hear from relevant speakers and engage with federal law enforcement to discuss robbery prevention strategies.
