1. Grants in the form of two individual $500.00 scholarships were awarded to two students 2. Benefits and gifts paid to union members for being hospitalized, retirement and death in the amount of $35.00, $100.00 and $100.00 repectfully for each occurrence. 3. Salaries paid to officers and employees as compensation for maintaining the operation of the local union branch and also for representing the members in the respective postal stations. 4. Travel funds were issued under the IRS Accountable Plan for elected delegates to attend a National or State Convention and to allow Officers and Stewards to attend training seminars.
