National pal serves pal chapter members nationwide through supporting, promoting, and expanding youth mentoring programs. National pal is the nation's largest youth serving organization for law enforcement. Npal focuses on building relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve through youth mentoring. Serving members and promoting and putting on programs for the kids. Promoting partnerships with kids and police officers in the community. Providing kids programs and assistance to the member PALs including training programs.

The National Association of Police Athletic/activities League (National pal) works to prevent juvenile crime and violence, utilizing a recreation-oriented crime prevention program that relies upon athletic and education programs for youth. As a membership organization, National pal provides chapters with resources and opportunities to grow their own programs and enhance the quality of individual programming. In addition, National pal provides chapter members opportunities to bring their young athletes together to compete in a championship environment in several sports. Police athletic League youth enrichment program offers programs in sports and activities at all levels. These programs are designed to build character, prevent juvenile delinquency, develop self esteem, and serve as a crime prevention effort.
