Nar promotes high standards of conduct in the transaction of real estate business and helps to ensure that the public recognizes that Realtors adhere to a strict code of ethics. Nar's consumer advertising campaign delivers powerful messages to National audiences through comprehensive media promotions endorsing the benefits of using a realtor and countering negative housing market messages. The focus of the program is to help state and local realtor associations tell buyers and sellers about the opportunities in a challenging housing market. The program is designed to help Realtors generate authentic optimism with consumers.

Nar conducted National meetings where members came to participate in the governance of the Association and learn about real estate best practices, trends and new decision-making tools and strategies. Nar conferences are packed with top-notch education for real estate professionals, as well as opportunities to network for referrals with agents from across the country. Each year nar holds a midyear meeting and a National conference.

Nar provides professional education programs designed to keep members on top of an evolving market and to enhance leadership skills. Nar holds several online educational sessions and webinars throughout the year to help members enhance their businesses and grow their client bases.
