Professional development - the National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (nashia) is committed to growing leaders by helping states create the strongest workforce possible to provide premium services and support to those they serve. Nashia offers professional development at every level of experience and depth to build basic skills or enhance seasoned staff expertise. All our training opportunities incorporate the latest practices from leaders in the field to enhance knowledge and skills related to service delivery, research, and promising practices.
Technical assistance and consultative services: nashia offers a comprehensive list of consultation services for State governments and their partner organizations and understands the specific needs of State governments and nuances associated with building service delivery systems and capacity for individuals with brain injuries and their families.
Public policy - nashia provides advocacy for brain Injury through written and verbal communcations with federal policy makers, members of congress and the congressional brain Injury task force, and participation in meeting sponsored by the federal administration.
Membership services - nashia assists State governments in promotingpartnerships and building systems to meet the needs of individuals withbrain Injury and their families. All members benefit from regularnewsletters, resources and publications, access to a National networkof leaders, and professional development through online training andour annual conference.
