Program areas at National Association of Student Personnel Administrators
Grants - naspa is engaged with multiple funders across multiple projects. The funders are as follows: the bill and melinda gates foundation, the suder foundation, the state of Colorado, Montana department of public health and human services, the lumina foundation, rockefeller philanthropy advisors, the kettering foundation, and diageo north america. All of these grants support grant-funded staff as well as on campus initiatives.
Workshops and institutes - the core of naspa's mission is to provide professional development for Student affairs educators and Administrators who share the responsibility for a campus wide focus on the Student experience. Professional development programs at naspa achieve this through a variety of conferences, workshops, and online learning, providing participants with access to the leading experts in higher education, Student affairs, and other relevant fields.
Annual conference - provided over 5,313 participants an opportunity to define the issues and seek solutions to the challenges facing the Student affairs profession and higher education.
Leadership/membership support - provided direct support to board and volunteer initiatives. Provided member benefits to all individual and institutional members. Provided direct support to individual and institutional members through telephone, email, and the naspa online environment.
