Program areas at National Association of Workforce Boards
Forum: the annual forum is nawb's premier event where Workforce development professionals and leaders in business, government, labor, and education gather to gain insight into the current state of our nation's Workforce system and consider the goals and policy framework affecting the future of human capital development. The annual forum is held in Washington, d.c. each year over four days for a National conversation around the shared responsibility to address the needs of regional economies by strengthening the ability of american businesses and career seekers to compete in a global economy. In 2023, the annual forum welcomed approximately 1200 attendees and contributors in person, including private sector board members, nonprofit and government board members, state and local Workforce development board (wdb) directors and staff, and additional attendees joining from education, economic development, state and federal government, and other community-based organizations.
Member services: nawb takes great pride in cultivating personal projects and relationships with all of their members, while working closely with their strategic partners to provide the tools and resources the members need to be successful.
