Program areas at NBEC

Our coalition efforts are centered on establishing relationships and fostering collaboration between emerging leaders across communities. Bridging divides promotes mutual understanding, collective progress, and reinvigorates historical alliances. Through strategic partnerships, advocacy efforts, and community engagement initiatives, we strive to create spaces where indiviuals and organizations can come together to address shared challenges, pursue common goals and contribute to the civil society.
Continually improving primary, secondary, and higher education in this country is a top priority of the National Black Empowerment Council. Ensuring that Black children and families have a full complement of schooling options available to them as well is important. Toward both these ends, we create programs, work with partners, and engage our network to help empower our youth and African American serving institutions
Our aim at NBEC is to increase African American financial literacy, empower entreprepreneurs, and elevate Black leaders into corporte goverance. Additionally, we work with industries, institutions, and strategic partners who are committed to equity for African Americans
In addition to the three programs descibed above the organizations also continued service through additional programing such as UJA, Arts as an Asset, Food Inequity, Small Business Program, Digital Divide, Drone cadets, Corporate Board Program, and Financial Literacy Programs.
