General program: ncteaf's programmatic work improves the lives of Transgender people and their families by working to increase public understanding and acceptance of trans people and by encouraging the adoption and implementation of trans-inclusive policies and practices at every level of government. Ncteaf educates people and their families on issues affecting trans people across the country. It also includes encouraging Transgender people and their families to vote in every election.
Grassroots lobbying: ncteaf empowers and mobilizies trans people and allies to take Action to be advocates for trans Equality. Ncteaf advocates policymakers for trans Equality at the local, state, and federal level encouraging the passage of legislation that guarantees Equality for Transgender people and prohibiting legislation that is discriminatory.
Electoral: ncteaf's electoral work includes endorsing selected candidates for office who support Transgender Equality and opposing candidates who oppose Transgender Equality.
