For the year ended December 31, 2023 National Coalition for Community Capital-NC3 operated the following programs:1. Hosted a legal training series for attorneys during which participants attended six sessions over the course of six months to skill up on assisting community builders developing community investment funds, specifically using a legal compliance strategy NC3 calls the diversified community investment fund (DCIF).2. Consulted with 5 project teams developing DCIFs through NC3s Accelerator program, which is a wrap-around program whereby NC3 brings relevant technical assistance to the table to support community-based project teams creating a real estate fund that will incorporate community capital as a funding source for their projects.3. Hosted a conversation series during which seven project teams working to build diversified community investment funds (DCIFs) were invited to attend seven sessions over the course of six months to discuss and learn about a variety of topics related to building a fund that will be able to accept community capital and fund community based real estate projects.4. Hosted 3 webinars through the year. In April 2023, we spoke about Diversified Community Investment Funds (DCIFs). In October 2023, we convened Friends of Community Capital and those interested in our Accelerator Project in Detroit.
