During the 2023 year, the Committee sponsored and/or organized exchanges between the United States and the peoples republic of china enabling experts in specific fields to interact with each other; track ii dialogues on critical issues (healthcare, maritime law, economics, digital economy, strategic security) in the relationship between the two countries; conferences on cutting edge issues; and briefings for government officials and staff. These exchanges and programs were held both in person and virtually in 2023. (continued on schedule o)continued: public education programs were held primarily in the United States with audiences ranging in size from 20 to several hundred: these included briefings, consultations for official and private groups, newsletters, podcasts, panel discussions and seminars.
