Adult training workshops - the National Conference for Community and Justice Of Metropolitan St Louis (nccjstl) provides workshops that provide communication skills and awareness about different social groups. The building inclusive communities (bic) workshop is a one day Community awareness workshop that provides awareness building through individual exercises and short lectures. The nccjstl also offers the inclusion institute for healthcare (iih) workshops. The iih is a 5 day training workshop offered to healthcare professionals which educates healthcare professionals on ways in which they can improve their cultural competency and build effective communication skills. The facilitrainer certification program builds capacity for organizations to sustain diversity and inclusion work by preparing staff, over 12 days Of intensive training, to serve as internal educators on diversity.
Anytown youth leadership institute (ayli) is an 8 day full immersion residential program for high school youth interested in making their school and Community environments more socially just. This learning increases youths understanding Of social Justice issues and Of their own responsibilitiy to create a Community based on inclusion, trust, and mutual respect, free Of bullying.
