Partners for Dignity & Rights (P4DR, legal name National Economic and Social Rights Initiative) supports community partners in their campaigns for economic and social rights, including education, housing, and work with dignity, and advances a larger vision of public goods, equity, and democracy for all. This year, our Research and Development team took substantial steps towards cultivating communities of practice that deepen democracy for worker-led and multi-issue organizations. Through our New Social Contract project, we published the report, written with Race Forward, Co-governing Toward Multiracial Democracy, highlighting collaborative governance models from communities of color across the country. We presented a panel at the Facing Race conference, organized multiple events and published articles to promote the report, and provide opportunities for deeper exploration of its themes and ideas.
