CAMPAIGN FOR SUSTAINABLE RECOVERY AND DEVELOPMENT which included virtual and non-virtual speaking engagements, film showings, as well as NEJA's quarterly publication The NEJA Bulletin, explaining the need for sustainable recovery and workshops. film development, which includes renewable energy alternatives, the dangers of extreme energy extraction, the need to reverse global warming, and to protect biodiversity. NEJA assisted a community to purchase an electric vehicle as part of this campaign.
COMMUNITY-BASED SELF-HELP EFFORTS: NEJA issued grants for community organizing including disaster relief, legal and medical advocacy, education and benefits, and justice for low-income, often essential workers and to aid self-help efforts expand their emergency and supplemental food, utility and water advocacy to aid communities in keeping healthy.
LOCAL LEGAL INFORMATION & ADVICE: NEJA assisted an organization of attorneys together with low-income workers to provide legal education and information in a variety of field including environmental justice while providing organizing assistance for the local community.
