Program areas at NGPA
The Association holds fly in events in various locations for the purpose of education, advocacy and support for its members. These events serve to strengthen and inform both members and the aviation industry around current and emerging issues important to the lgbt aviation community and industry.
The ngpa supports advocacy related to its mission, advocacy may occur on a National, regional, local or campus level.
The Association grants scholarships to eligible applicants. Applicants are required to submit an application which is reviewed by a nominated and vetted selection committee. The committeee uses a scoring process. Applicants must meet certain critera and must attend schools with accredited pilot and other credentialing training programs. Funds are paid directly to theeducation institution and any unused funds are returned to the Association.
