Program areas at National Headache Foundation
Nhf's primary care migraine initiative is a web and app-based training program that provides primary care professionals with continuing medical education credit, while informing on the most cutting-edge treatments and preventative protocols for migraine disease.
National Headache Foundation provides outreach to Headache sufferers through videos, podcasts, public awareness programs, and brochures. Such programs include headwise podcasts, #mham (migraine and Headache awareness month), aqh, migraine university, and education presentations to patients, caregivers, healthcare practitioners, payers, and policymakers - both in person meetings and via the nhf website.
Operation brainstorm was established by the nhf as a military community health resource initiative for veterans and active-duty military personnel living with migraine disease and Headache disorders. Through this program, the nhf hopes to reach and support veteran and military patients, family members, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
