Program areas at National Indian Youth Leadership Development Project

Mentoring - a multi-state group mentoring initiative to provide group and peer mentoring services to underserved Native American and other youth in six states. This mentoring initiative is funded by a three year grant from the Department of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention CFDA number 16.726 Juvenile Mentoring Program.
SAMHSA - addresses substance abuse treatment prevention and mental health needs for participants.
Project venture - reconnecting native Youth with nature through sequenced initiatives and outdoor activities involving experiential learning. Reinfocing traditional native values such as family service learning and appreciation for the natural world.
