Standards and product development:nims has developed a smart standards methodology to properly train employees in a world where technology emerges, and changes faster than an average individual can master in their career span. Its customizable format is aligned with manufacturers and based on specific job roles within an occupation that are easily stackable into a masterful career. Smart standards enable communities to define their specific job roles from a collection of industry-recognized job duties.
Business development:nims helps organizations validate performance with practical experiences that reflect what their employees will face on the job. We use innovative processes to help organizations discover these experiences, determine how they will transfer knowledge and Skills to others, and plan how they will recognize students and workers for their success.
Credentialing (includes international): set National industry skill standards and issue credentials to certify students and workers in manufacturing against industry recognized standards.
Workshops:nims professional development workshops foster the continuous improvement of technical Skills and andragogical methodologies among instructors and on-the-job trainers.
Skillsusa:host National machining competition for high school students competing in cnc operation.
Accreditation:nims accreditation is the nation's only distinction for excellence in manufacturing training as based on nims industry-written, industry-approved standards. Accredited programs demonstrate the ability to produce skilled, work-ready individuals that fulfill industry's 21st century workforce needs.
