Public education - provides statewide junior high school student educational programs regarding the prevention and treatment of Kidney disease, the importance of organ donation, and the effects of the abuse of prescription medications and illegal drugs on the health of the kidneys.
Professional education and community services - provides medical education programs to deliver practice guidelines, materials for implementation, and conferences that put state-of-the-art information about Kidney disease prevention and treatment into the hands of healthcare professionals.
