Cooperative awareness program (cap)the cooperative awareness program ("cap") is designed to build an awareness program to be used to promote industry awareness, educate allied health professionals and the supports the benefits of choosing qap member Dealers and manufactured products to consumers and advocacy groups as well as to share nmeda resources. The marketing is generally done via support and educational opportunities directed to other c-3 & c-6 disability and allied healthcare associations.
National, state, and local conferencesconference and educational programs are designed to advance our organization's mission and elevate professional knowledge, skill and understanding among those in the automotive Mobility space. Through these programs, participants gain essential knowledge on the latest vehicle modification techniques, safety standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements, enhancing their technical proficiency and industry compliance. The impact of these educational efforts is reflected in improved product quality, safety, a more informed workforce, which together strengthen industry credibility. These programs foster a collaborative environment, encouraging networking, and knowledge-sharing that drives innovation, long-term growth and sustainability across the industry.
Quality assurance program (qap)the quality assurance program (qap) is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the adaptive Mobility Equipment industry. The purpose of the program is to ensure the products and services provided by quality assurance program (qap) accredited locations meet or exceed customer needs and current government safety requirements.nmeda currently has 302 qap accredited Dealers across north america providing accessible Mobility solutions to the public and has 78 wheelchair accessible vehicle conversions that have been reviewed for compliance to federal safety standards and posted on the website.
