Program areas at National Organization of Vietnamese American Leaders of Greater DC
The NOVAL-DC Cares Food Distribution program addresses food insecurity in the Vietnamese American Community by distributing food to vulnerable members of the Vietnamese American community in Fairfax County, VA.
The ACE Mentorship Program pairs Vietnamese American students with Vietnamese American mentors in the career fields the former wish to pursue. Students receive monthly mentorship sessions and workshops that teach knowledge and skills.
The Vietnamese Heritage Festival has served over 30,000 people and helped educate Vietnamese culture to the Greater DC, MD and VA community. It helped to showcase Vietnamese business, talent, and culture while bringing the Vietnamese community and its accomplishments to the American mainstream. During the pandemic we have provided virtual programming related to this.
