The NPSC delivered a Violence Prevention and Intervention program for youth in Compton California, led by credible messengers. The direct services provider, a nonprofit community based organization, served as a subcontractor.
Research to Policy Project: NPSC connected prevention research experts with representatives from Congressional and State offices. The project is informed by research showing that developing interpersonal working relationships can facilitate the translation of evidence generated by prevention science into public policy.
NPSC received an award through the University of Baltimore from the federal High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas program for a planning grant, Gamifying an Evidence Based Parenting Intervention (Triple P) to Improve Access to evidence based programs for Caregivers with Addiction in order to Reduce Substance Use Outcomes in their Children.
