Program areas at National Purple Heart Honor Mission

The organization raised funds to Honor recipients of the Purple Heart medal, the united states of america's award for service personnel killed or wounded in combat operations. The organization creates video archives transforming Purple Heart recipient stories from analog to usable video. These videos will be shared with the National Purple Heart hall of Honor. The organization has also been educating the public about the Purple Heart medal and Purple Heart recipients.
The organization's National Purple Heart commemorative coin act's purpose was to work with the united states mint to create beautiful commemorative coins and maximize surcharge revenues that will allow the organization to continue its Mission of paying tribute to our nation's combat wounded through special outreach and educational programs.
The organization's Purple Heart patriot project provides an all-expenses paid trip to Purple Heart recipients from across the country to visit the National Purple Heart hall of Honor, the museum dedicated as a tribute to their service, and other historic sites connected with the Purple Heart. Sponsored by National and local organizations and donors, each Mission is comprised of one Purple Heart recipient representing their fellow Purple Heart heroes from each state. These powerful visits provide a unique opportunity for veterans to connect with other recipients and experience the appreciation of a grateful nation committed to ensuring their sacrifice is remembered for generations to come.
Creation of a mobile tribute and education center that will travel across the united states of america to tell the story of the Purple Heart, pay tribute to its recipients, record recipient stories, and educate visitors on the sacrifice of our nations heroes.
