The education and communication program provides Space related education and communication for approximately 10,000 members through regional meetings, topical workshops, and publication of magazine (ad astra). Nss and partner organizations annually involve thousands of students world-wide in Space settlement design exercises--experiences that steer many participants into stem curricula and careers.
The policy and research program provides Space related research and policy dissemination to approximately 10,000 members and the general public through seminars, publications, and the media.
