We at the NBDC advocate for justice- and equity-centered approaches towards ensuring that Indigenous communities have sovereignty over their health data. To support data sovereignties that center the co-creation of tribal digital health systems and solutions we seek to understand the complex ethical legal and cultural domains related to AI ML integration into Indigenous communities. This requires development of legal policies by legal experts with feedback provided by tribal leaders. We seek to provide a conference where experts can meet and present their findings.
Administration provides front office support to help NBDC achieve its mission.
