Description
Native Health Initiative is a community partnership that values indigenous wisdom and knowledge in the pursuit of health equity through loving service. Running Medicine, a low-cost program that emphasizes the healing power of running for mind, body, and spirit, is a critical component in NHI's effort to build cultures of wellness in Native communities. The Building Youth Leaders focus offers internships each summer to high school and college-aged students who work with all programs and assist in event planning. Last year, six individuals participated in this opportunity.
