Program areas at Nature Defense Foundation

Our program accomplishments during 2019 consisted of providing sanctuary to 54 animals including 24 horses, 2 cows, 10 pigs and 18 alpacas. We have also made progress towards educating our community about animal welfare through informative tours of the sanctuary where visitors can meet our rescue residents and learn about each one of their stories. Our sanctuary tours have made a profound impact on our visitors who often have never met a farm animal in person.
