Lightway for Women -We continued to serve women with dignity and respect in a long-term, residential environment which is staffed 24/7/365. The center served 23 residents. In a year, each resident had over 400 hours of classes, hours of one-on-one recovery coaching, and 52 hours of support groups. to which they were safely transported. Each lady experienced 52 church services in a year at various faith communities, 312 hours of exercise and had 1095 meals and 1095 healthy snacks per year. So many enrichment opportunities were experienced by the ladies: hair makeovers, 104 hours of art therapy, and creative classes. Our residents' families also receive 52 weekly education classes and at lease 8 hours of family coaching as residents work through family issues. During the year 161 volunteers worked over 505 hours to share life skills, stories and furnish creative crafts for the residents. Because of the generosity of our donors and community, we were able to provide these activities and services to our residents to enhance the level of care that is essential to long term recovery for the women we serve.

LIFELINE - Our LIFELINE crisis response program places a peer recovery specialists in the hospital emergency rooms within 60 minutes of receiving a call for anyone that has experienced or is at risk of an overdose, and alcohol. We provide this service 12/07/365 at no cost to the individuals or hospitals we serve (Northside Gwinnett Lawrenceville, Northside Gwinnett Duluth, Piedmont Hospital Eastside North and South campus, and Emory Johns Creek). Our goal is to connect people affected by addiction to recovery support resources and services as quickly as possible and to encourage them to stay connected. In 2023 we engaged with 322 individuals in the hospitals. We had 1,548 encounters through one-on-one coaching, family coaching, virtual meetings, phone calls, emails, and text messaging. LIFELINE is an important part of the continuum of care in our community, connecting people affected by addiction and their families to the resources necessary to maintain recovery and lead vital lives.
