Research to document fiscal and economic conditions in north carolina resulting in more than 40 publications. Engagement with communities across the state to identify priorities for Budget and Tax policy including the allocation of federal funds resulting in increased capacity to connect with public Budget processes in more than 20 communities. Communication with the public to build awareness of the impact of policy choices on well-being by engaging directly with the media, posting to social media and advertising in various publications. Building the will of policymakers to act on solutions that are community driven by connecting more people to the policy process, monitoring the legislative process and conducting independent analysis of legislative proposals.
