Program areas at Nehemiah Community Empowerment Center
JCPC funding for our tech/robotic afterschool and teen summer employment program. STEM career exploration and academic enrichment during afterschool and summer camp. Childrent participate in age-appropriate activities, such as: coding, robotic engineering, animation, 3-d printing, drones, science projects, etc. Teens also acquire workforce development and training as jr. counselors who help tutor youth, play games and participate iin outdoor activities.
Funding from Truist Foundation to implement adult ITF certification, provide workforce development and adult apprenticeship training. PC assembly and repair, digital literacy, on-the-job training.
Funding for Pre-apprenticeship program training IT certification for teens and young adults. We offer PC assembly, coding, robotic engineering and competitions with FIRST.
