Empowering youth, fostering environmental stewardship, and building community. NCCG is a non-profit agency committed to enhancing the quality of life for Camden residents by fostering community engagement, environmental sustainability, and food justice. Our mission is to create and maintain community gardens that serve as safe and accessible green space, acting as a catalyst for positive change in the city. Our vision is to establish a network of community gardens throughout Camden, offering residents opportunities to cultivate healthy food, connect with each other, and learn about sustainable practices. At NCCG, we provide resources, training, and support to dedicated volunteers and paid garden interns to help them establish and maintain their gardens. Additionally, we offer educational programs at local Camden City Schools and events that promote community building, and engage residents in sustainable practices.
